Abstract: Objective To learn about the government officials.attitude to the HIV/AIDS and the influencing factors from the relative department for HIV prevention and control,and look for evidence for improving strategy support.Methods To conduct anonymous self-reported questionnaire investigation among 1 655 government officials from related department.Results 83.7% agreed that the HIV/AIDS should be treated and cared without stigma.Education,depar tment and with the opinion that only the immoral ones would infect HIV were the influencing factors to the attitude for the officials.The ones with the education of junior college and upper tended to have optimistic attitude(OR:0.490,95%CI=0.350~0.686);The ones from non-health system department tended to have negative attitude,especially the school(OR:7.087,95%CI= 3.878~12.95)and police or justice system(OR:3.332,95%CI=1.860~5.970);The ones with the the opinion that only the immoral ones would infect HIV tended to have negative attitude(OR:2.231,95%CI=1.104~4.506).Conclusion The strategy support to the government officials,especially from school and police or judicature should be pertinently strengthened.
