Abstract:
Objective To explore the characteristics of healthy personality and its relationship to subjective well-being among college students.
Methods 705 college students were surveyed with Healthy Personality Questionnaire and Happiness Scale of International College Survey Questionnaire.
Results The significant sex difference in practical abilit y was found(
t=3.365,
P<0.01);the significant grade differences in self-social harmony were found(
F=3.070,
P<0.05);the total score of healthy personality of the lower grade was higher than that of the higher grade;the significant terrain differences in practical ability(
F=2.987,
P<0.05)and total score of healthy personality(
F=2.886,
P<0.05)were found;the total score of healthy personality of the students who came from city was higher than that of the students who came from town and country;self consistency and congruence,self-social harmony and practical ability had significant effect on subjective well-being.
Conclusion There were close relation between healthy personality and subjective well-being among college students.
