Abstract:
Objective To analyze the intra specific genetic relationship and polymorphism of the Salmonella typhistrains isolated from stool sample scollected in Dalian area during 2000~2006.
Methods Am plified fragment length polymorphism(AFLP)was applied to 30 Samlonella typhiisolates using there striction enzymes PstI/MseI and 9 selective prmierpairs.
Results Twenty-nine different AFLP gene types were found among the 30 strains of Samlonella typhi.
Conclusion AFLP is a valid and efficient method to research the molecular epidemiology of Samlonella typhi.
