某高校教职工体质指数及腰臀比与血压关系

Relationship between BMI, WHR and hypertension among staff in university

  • 摘要: 目的 探讨体质指数(BMI)和腰臀比(WHR)对教职工血压水平和高血压患病率的影响。方法 对郑州大学2008年健康体检的2 668名教职工体检资料进行统计分析,采用Logistic回归分析相关危险因素。结果 教职工总体人群高血压患病率为17.2%,男性为21.0%,女性为15.8%,男性高于女性(P=0.000);随着年龄的增加,总体人群平均血压水平和高血压检出率均明显升高(P<0.01);与BMI、WHR正常人群比较,超重及肥胖组、腹型肥胖人群血压水平均明显升高(P<0.01),且高血压检出率均升高(P<0.01);多因素Logistic回归分析结果显示,WHR、BMI、年龄是高血压的独立危险因素,相对危险度分别为94.291(95%CI=8.147~1 091.264),1.216(95%CI=1.170~1.264),1.051(95%CI=1.041~1.060)。结论 教职工人群WHR及BMI水平与高血压密切相关。

     

    Abstract: Objective To investigate the relationship between body mass index(BMI),waist to hip ratio(WHR) and blood pressure levels and the prevalence of hype rtension among the faculty of Zhengzhou university.Methods We analyzed the medical data of 2 668 staffps healthy check-up collected in 2008.The analysis of relevan trisk factors was conducted with logistic regression.Results The overall prevalence of hypertension was 17.2%,with a significant higher prevalence in the male(21.0%)compared to that in the female(15.8%,P=0.000).The average level of blood pressure and rate of hypertension increased significantly with the increment of age(P < 0.01).Compared to the staff with nomal BMI and WHR,the blood pressure levels of the staff with overweight,obesity,and abdominal obesity were significantly higher(P < 0.01),and also the rate of hype rtension(P < 0.01).The resrults of multiplelogistic regression showed that age,BMI,and WHR were independent risk factors for hypertension,with relative risks of 1.051(95% confidence intervalCI=1.041-1.060), 1.216(95% CI=1.170-1.264) and 94.291(95% CI=8.147-1091.264).Conclusion The BMI and WHR are closely related to the prevalence of hypertension among the faculty of university.
