Abstract:
Objective To investigate mental health of SARS patients for three period: entering hospital, leaving hospital and at present.
Methods 116 SARS patients completed self-reported inventories including Common Status Questionnaire, SCL-90.
Results The general state of SARS patients were stable during leaving hospital compared with entering hospital.But they were panic more seriously.They were in preferable state at present compared with leaving hospital.Their symptoms were improved a lot in somatization, depression, anxiety, panic and psychotic and improved little in obsessive-compulsive, individual sensitivity, hostility and paranoid.
Conclusion SARS patients exist severe mood disorders.They should be evaluated continuously and be intervened in time.
