Abstract:
Objective To probe infection of Ureaplasma urealyticum(Uu), Mycoplasma hominis(Mh), Mycoplasma genitalium(Mg), Gardneralla vaginalis(Gv)in female sex workers.
Methods Uu, Mh, Mg and Gv were detected by nested PCR from samples of genital tracts which contained 75 female sex workers and 42 patients with genital infections, as well as data of age, marriage, condom use, etc were interviewed.
Results The passive rate of Uu, Mh, Mg, GV was 78.67%, 36.00%, 17.33%, 36.00% in 75 female sex workers, compared with 40.48%, 11.90%, 21.43%, 19.05%in 42 patients respectively. The difference of positive rate of Uu, Mh had statistic significance between the two groups. The relations of Uu, Mh, Mg, GV with age, marriage and condom use had no statistic significance.
Conclusion The positive rate of Uu, Mh, Mg, GV in the sex female wor kers was higher, which showed that sex transmission of Uu, Mh, Mg, GV might be existed. So, surveillance of Uu, Mh, Mg, GV, and use condom in the high risk of STD should be taken further.
