Relationship between serum uric acid and metabolism of blood sugar and lipid in healthy people

Objective To analyze there lation ship between serumuric acid and metabolism of blood sugar and lipid in healthy people.Methods The blood samples of 1 236 healthy people were collected and analyzed for uricacid,glycerin,total chole sterol(TC),high density lipoprote in chole sterol(HDL-C),and low density lipoprote in cholestero l(LDL-C).Results Most of the blood biochemical indicators of the males were higher than those of the females with significant difference(P<0.05)exceptapo lipoprotein A(A poA)and HDL-C.In Han subjects,the A poA,blood urea nitrogen(BUN),TG,HDL-C were higher than in Uygur subjects.But in the Uygu,rthe A poB,TC,fasting blood sugar(FBS),LDL-C were higher than in the Han(P<0.05).Other blood bio-chemical indicators in hyperuricemia group were higher than those of normal group and the indicators increased with the increase of serumuric acid except A poA and HDL-C(P<0.05).The prevalences of the diseases increased with the increase of uricacid(P<0.05).Conclusion The blood biochemical indicators are different bewteen sex and ethnic groups and increase with the increment of serumuric acid level.
