Advances in researches on tick-borne viruses causing human diseases

  • There are many tick-borne viruses (TBVs) found worldwide, including 14 species of 5 families (Nairoviridae, Phenuiviridae, Flaviviridae, Orthomyxoviridae, Reoviridae) could cause human diseases. The study reviews the classification, related human diseases, vector, host animal, distribution of TBVs and the prevention of TBVs-induced human diseases.
