Sequence Analysis of HCV E2(HVR) Region of Same Genotype Obtained from Different Regions.

To study gene variat ion of HCV E₂ region(HVR)of same genotype isolated from patients with HCV infection collected from different geographical areas.Serum samples of patients with HCV infection were collected from Hebei,Henai provinces of China and Sweden.HCV E₂ region was amplified by RT-PCR with typespecific pr imers targ eted on E₂ region,and then sequenced.The sequences of HCV E₂ gene isolated from different and then sequences.The sequences of HCV E₂ gene isolated from different geogr aphical areas were not identical,with the highest variable region in HVR.The homology of the HCV E₂ sequences from patients in the same area was higher than that from different regions.The mutation of nucleo tide caused changes of amino acid.Gene variation of HCV closely related to the geographical region.
