Study on Human Embryo Lung Cell Malignant Transformation Induced by Cooking Oil Fume Condensates

  • ObjectiveTo assess the potential carcinogenic risk of cooking oil fume(COF)to human.MethodsAssay of human embryo lung diploid cell transfor mation in vitro was applied to detect the cell transformation activity of COF,and the malignant degree of transformated cell was also assessed.ResultsVarious concentratin of COFC within the dose range of the experiment all can induce human embryo lung diploid cell transfor mation, and the dose-relationship was obvious(r=0.9739).Trans formated cell also exhibited many character istics associating with malignant transformation such as loss of density inhibition、contact inhibition growth at low serum concentration and agg lutination by low concentration of ConA.ConclusionIt indicated that cooking oil fumes may be potential carcinogenic to human.
