Study of Intervention of Childhood Mental Health Problem and the Evaluation of the Effect

  • Our study investigated the mental health status of students of on elementary school in Wuhan city by Learning-weariness Scale and Mental Health Test,found 49 of them had emotional problems,boys 27 and girls 22.They had the emotion of learning-weariness and the tendency of anxiety and depression.With the cooperation and support of their school teachers and parents,collective psychological consult were made once a week for twelve weeks,in the purpose of guiding the students how to feel happiness and achievements,communicate sensibilities each other and express one's indignation in right way,increasing the ability of self-control,promoting the communication and friendship with each other, and giving up their bad emotion.Comparative study on the result of Learning-weariness Scale and MHT before and after intervention showed,as we hoped,the leaing2weariness emotion and the tendency of anxiety and depression of the intervened students are significant lower then before.
