Distributing Analysis of the D17S5 Locus in Primary Bladder Transitional Cell Cancer

Objective To understand the genetic polymorphs of the D₁₇S₅ locus in TCC.Methods The D₁₇S₅ VNTR of 52 patients of TCC were observed by PCR,PAGE and silver staining methods.Results The analysis revealed 10 alleles,different from normal individuals significantly(P<0.001).The distribution of genotypes were in bad agreement with the expected number under the Hardy-weinberg equilibrium(P<0.001).The heterozygosity of D₁₇S₅ locus in TCC(61.54%)was less than that in normal organism(83.85%)(P<0.01).Conclusion The results suggested that the changes of the distribution of D₁₇S₅ VNTR might be due to deletions of some frequencies or LOH.
