A Case control Study on Risk Factors of Malignant Lymphoma in Wuhan and nearby Regions.

Objective To explore the risk factors of malignant lymphoma(ML)in Whuan and nearby regions.Method 115 case matched 1:1 with controls were investigated.Information was obtained by questionnaires.The relationship between risk factors and ML were anlyased by conditional univariant and multivariate Logistic regression.Results Cigarette smoking(OR=1.76,95% CL:1.06～2.92),the family income(OR=0.53,95%CL:0.35～0.80),the history of surgery(OR=0.41,95%CL:0.19～0.89),the family history of cancer(OR=2.05,95%CL:1.05～ 4.00).No significant difference was found in residence,occupation,alcohol consumption,blood transfusion,and allergy.Conclusions Cigarette smoking and the family history of cancer are risk factors of ML,while the higher family income and the history of surgery are protective factors.
