CT Types and Clinical Significance of Cerebral Cysticercosis

Objective To study the significance of the feature of CT image of intracerebral cysticercus.Methods In accordance with the feature of CT image of intracerebral cysticercus in cerebral cysticercosis patients before treatment,classification of CT image was made,and analysis was performed in comparison with adverse reaction during anti-cysticercus treatment and with anti -cysticercus effect after treatment.Results The adverse reaction of various degrees had been arisen in different types of cerebral cysticercosis patients in the first anti-cysticercus course and the anti-cysticercus effects were different after treatment.The adverse reaction of type ⅳ was not serious and the majority of type ⅳ was cured after 2 or 3 anti-cysticercus courses.The serious adverse reaction was arisen in the typesⅡ,Ⅲ and Ⅴ and the cure ratio after treatment were 81.4%,72.6% and 74.1%,respectively.The adverse reaction of type Ⅳ was not serious.Conclusion There are indications that the CT types can be used to instruct clinical application and to judge the effect of treatment.
