Effect of Chromium Glucosate on Obesity Rats

Objective The effect of chromium glucosate on obesity rats fed with high fat diet was studied.Methods Rats were fed high fat dies for six weeks.The animals then were divided into three groups:high fat diet group,high fat diet+chromium glucosate(3mg/kg#bw chromium)group,high fat diet+chromium glucosate(0.6mg/kg#bw chromium)group.Results Chromium glucosate decreases the level of cholesterol,trigly cerides,fat pillow around spermary and kidney,testosterone and Leptin in high fat diet+chromium glucosate groups compared to high fat diet groups.Conclusion Chromium glucosate does good to obesity rates fed with high fat diet.
