Effects of Different Calcium on Several Parameters of Disuse Osteoporosis in Rats

ObjectiveTo study the effect of different Ca on serum calcium,zinc,copper,AKP and MDA of disuse osteoporosis.MethodsFifty two-month old healthy SDrats were randomly divided into 5 groups,half male and half female.Group 2,3,4 and 5 were reproduced with patterns of animal osteoporosis.The diet in group 1 and g roup 2 was the basic diet,while the groups 3,4,5 experiment diets were supplemented with different Ca.The BMD, BMC,serum calcium,zinc,copper,AKP and MDA were measured two months later.ResultsThe serum Ca、Cu、Cu/Zn、MDA and AKP in disuse osteoporosis group were higher than no disuse osteoporosis group,but Zn was lower.Ca supplement could increase the BMD and decrease the MDA、AKP of disuse osteo porosis in rats.ConclusionCa supplement could increase the BMD,AKP, MDA of disuse osteoporosis in rats.
