Study on Antitransformation Effect of Genistein in NIH/3T3 Cell Line

Objective To elucidate the effects of genistein on the initiating and promoting stage of cancer.Methods Genistein effect on transfo rmation induced by MNNG in NIH/3T3 cell line were studied.Results There were significant inhibitory effects of genistein on transformation induced by MNNG in NIH/3T3 cell line,the lowest inhibiting concentration of genistein wa 3.7Lmol/L.Conclusion Genistein maybe have the preventive effects in the carcinogeneses.
