Study on Effect of Bioactive Peptides on Delaying Aging

  • Objective To study on the effect of bioactive peptides from milk protein on the lifespan of drosophila melanogaster and the oxidative and antioxidative indice of rats. Methods Survivable test of drosophila melanogaster and antiox dative test of rats. Results The bioactive peptides prolonged significantly the the time of half-death of Drosophila melanogaster, and incr eased significantly the longest and average lifespan of both the male and female.Furthermore, the bioactive peptides decreaed the content of MDA,and increased the activity of SOD and GSH-PX significantly. Conclusion The bioactive peptides from milk could have the action to delay the process of the aging.
