Study on Management Compliance of Patients with Hypertension in Rural Areas

  • Objective To explore the situation in management compliance of hypertensive patients in rural areas.Methods The 256 hypertnesion patients were investigated with questionnaire at Xiangyan County.Results The rate of using agents was 71.3% in first visit cases,only 6.64% patients persisted in using agents for long-term.The compliance rate of patients to antihypertensive measure told by doctors respectively lowering salt 28.26%,measure blood pressure regularly 24.87%,reducing weight 5.08%,life regularity 5.03%,lower fat 4.30%,adherence to use medicine 3.33%,no smoking and liquor 1.14%.Conclusion The factors of impacting compliance were hygiene advertisements,patient's knowledge,economic and societal service.These results indicated that compliance rate of treatment management in rural areas were evidently lower than that in city.
