Micro Simple Rapid Autologous Erythocyte Agglutination Assay for Detection of Antibodies Against Hanta Virus

Objective To study the possibility of autologous erythocyte agglutination assay(AGEN) to detect antibodies against Hanta Virus.Methods HFRS patients' whole blood were detected using AGEN and IFAT.AGEN test and IFAT were compared.Results Forty nine of 54 (90.8% ) HFRS whole blood samples were positive by AGEN test; Ninety normal persons' whole blood samples were tested by AGEN,89 cases were negative.Conclusion The AGEN test was a new micro,simple,rapid and economic method to detect antibodies against Hanta Virus.
