Relationship between Expression of CD44v6 and P53 in Gastric Carcinoma and Metastitic Lymphodes

Objective To investigate the relationship between the expression of CD44v6,P53 gene protein primary gastric carcinomas and metastatic lymphnoads.Methods Immunohistochemical method was used to examine CD44v6,P53 expression in 38 beniga gastric disease tissue,42 gastric adenocarcinomas,and 28 metastatic adenocarcinomas lymphodes.Results The positive expression rates of CD44v6,P53 were 55% and 20%,52.3% and 7% in gastric carcinomas and beniga gastric disease,respectively.There was a signficant difference between the two groups(P<0.05).The postive expression rates of CD44v6,P53 in metastatic lymphnodes were 78.5%,64.2%,respectively.There was significant difference between metastatic groups and unmetastatic lymphnodes(P<0.05).Conclusion CD44v6,P53 might be the valuable markers in assessing biological behavior,invasion,and metstases of gastric carcinomas.
