Study on liver injury model induced by alcohol

  Objective   To establish liver injury model induced by alcohol and to study the model dynamically.

  Methods   Kumming mice were randomly div ided into seven groups.They were giv en 50% alcoho l by gavage for 1, 3, 5, 10, 30 and 60 days.The contr ol group was given distilled water.Livers were obser ved patholog ically, and serum was analyzed biochemcially.

  Results   The alcoholic fatty liver(AFL)model occurred induced by 50% alco hol for 60 days.

  Conclusion   The different alcoholic liver disease phases were stimulated by 50% alco hol for different times, which could be applied in screening health foods for protecting alcohol injury.
