Evaluation on puerperal women's quality of life and analysis on its influence factors

  •   Objective   To evaluate on the puerperal women's health status comprehensively by quality of life(QOL), and further to probe social, medical, family and psychological influence factors in the study.
      Methods   Using relevant items of QOL from WHO to measure the puerperal women's health scores covered physical, psychological and social function dimensions, and analyzing the factors that could influence their health status potentially by stepwise regression method.
      Results   The health scores of puerperal women were lower than those of women aged between 18~49 years old, and the psychological score was the lowest.Meanw hile, 18 factors that could influence the puerperal women's health scores concerning three dimensions were found.
      Conclusion   More attention should be paid to the puerperal women's health status about physical, psychological and social function dimensions, the society, the families and the women themselves should pull together to participate in the puerperal women's health care.
