Social-psychological factors of reproductive tract infections turnover in female teachers

  •   Objective   To explore multi-social-psychological factors that impact female teachers'compliance of Reproductive Tract Infections(RTIs), and to provide evidence for effectively preventing and curing RTIs.
      Methods   Ancohort study and questionnaires were used with 286 RTIs cases diagnosed in 2000, meanwhile gynecologic inspection were done in order to make a cohort study on prognosis of disease, treatment compliance and related social-psychological factors.
      Results   The group of recovery and mend cases accounts for 55.24% in the sample size, the ones of unchanged and worse in 44.78%.during two years, the treatment compliance among those people was systemically treatment(15.03%), without treatment(34.97%), discontinuous treatment(50%).The sequence of factors effecting compliance was busy routine work(41.61%)RTIs was not serious(28.32%), it was not convenient to see the doctor(14.69%), the quality of care(9.09%), the expenditure for treatments(6.29%).
      Conclusion   RTIs among female teachers is a serious issue.The treatment compliance of RTIs is vital for the turnover of RTIs.Multi-social-psychological factors, namely, pressure from working and living, misunderstanding and attitudes about RTIs, the impact of traditional culture silence on sex, the ignorance of RTIs, light symptoms on RTIs, and the quality of health care would affect women's treatment compliance and RTIs tureover.
