Analysis on correlation between induced abortion and reproductive tract infection

ObjectiveTo explore the correlation between induced abortion and reproductive tractinfection.MethodA case)control study of 2507 RTIs women and 1443 health women and the binary logistic regression analysis were used to study the correlation between induced abortion and reproductive tractinfection in rural area.ResultsThere was a significant difference in rate of RTIs between case and control groups.The logistic regression model analysis showed that RTIs was related to the experience of induced abortion(OR=1.231,95% CI:1.056~1.434),the women experienced more times of induced abortion had higher risk of RTIs,especially ex perienced more than three times.ConclusionThe experience of induced abortion was risk factor of RTIs,and the more times of induced abortion,the more risk.
