Prevalence of reproductive tract infections among reproductive age women and its influence factors

ObjectiveTo understand the prevalence of reproductive tract infections among reproductive age women in China and its related factors.MethodThree-staged PPS method was employed to sample the women,uniform questionnaire was developed and face to face interview was used to collect the information.ResultsThe percentage of self-reported symptoms of RTIs was 39.2%.The results of Logistic analysis showed that race,marital status,education,income,area,history of pregnancy and abortion were predictors of RTIs.ConclusionThe prevalence of RTIs was high.Efforts should be taken to strengthen the control and prevention of RTIs.
