Relationship between TNF-β genetic polymorphisms and susceptibility of gastric cancer

Objective To explore the relationship between T NF-β genetic polymorphisms and susceptibility and the interaction between T N F-β and environmental risk factor.Methods 1B1 case-control study was carried out in Nanjing of gastric carcionma area,the genetic polymorphisms of TNF-β was determined by PCR-RFL Ptechnology,and the epidemiological data about env ironmental exposure was collected.Results There was significant relationship between T N F-β G/A genotype and suscept ibility of gastric cancer(P=0.0210,OR=1.6615,95%CI=1.0777~2.5617),but no significant relationship between T NF-β A/A genotype and susceptibility gastric cancer(P>0105).There was no interaction between genotype of T NF-β and environmental risk factors.Conclusion T N F-β genotype increases risk for gastric cancer.
