Discussion on control strategy about plague hazard along Qinghai-Tibet railway

Objective To proceed from the actual contitions of our country,discuss the plague hazard along Qinghai-Tibet railway.Methods To evaluate the plague hazard along Qinghai- Tibet railway retrospectively,discuss the strategies and measures on controlling the plague.Results The plague epidemic situation along Qinghai-Tibet railway was serious,the area of plague foci was up to 22 360 km²,there were the plague's bacteria separated from the marmot;From 1975 to 2001,there were 26 animal plagues to prevail,nine people died.Conclusion The epidemic situation of natural foci of plague along Qinghai-Tibet railway is serious,controlling the plague is imperative.
