Investigation on child health care of migrant children under 5 years old in Hangzhou and Beijing cities

ObjectiveTo investigate the situation of child health care of migrant children under 5 years old in Hanzhou and Beijing cities.MethodsOne district of Hangzhou city and two districts of Beijing city were selected for the study.The keepers of migrant children were investigated by tranined investigators.ResultsThere were 1205 and 1823 questionnaires were collected in Hangzhou and Beijing respectively.In Hangzhou and Beijing cities,the coverage of child health care for migrant children under 5 was 69.0% and 53.0% respectively,and the proportion of physical examination in the past year was 46.4% and 30.4% respectively.ConclusionAlthough the situation of migrant child health care in Hangzhou was relativey better than in Beijing in some aspects,but it was obviously worse than the level of local children's health care.
