Influential factors on college students’ internet use behaviors

ObjectiveTo discover the influential factors on college students' internet use behavior,so that effective measurement can be taken in time.MethodsThe str atified cluster sampling was used to research 395 college students of Huang shan college by questionnaires.ResultsThere were no gender difference and grade difference in college students' internct use behavior.Male students had(6.31±6.27)hours on-line perweek and spent(26.98±35.80)Yuan per month,bothre markable higher than female students.Freshman spent(6.06±7.22)hours on-line per week,which was longer than grade two students,(4.27±5.03)hours(P<0.05).The uncivilized net behaviors was remarkable positive relativity to the situation of mental health such as loneliness,depression,anxiety and irritability.Female students' net behaviors was better than male students.ConclusionCollege students' intemet use behavior was influenced by several factors such as gender,grade and mental health,etc.
