Blood plasma proteomic changes in a range of pH4~7 among heroin abuser

  • ObjectiveInvestigate the blood plasma proteomic difference of the heroin abuser to help the study of heroin addiction biomarker.MethodsSamples of blood plasma of heroin abuser and normal control after removed the albumin and IgG were separated by two-dimensional electrophoresis with pH 4-7 dry strip and PAGE.The images of two-dimensional electrophoresis were analysed by Image Master Elit 5.0.Differential proteins were cut and identified by tandem mass spectrometry.ResultsAverage spots of each sample were 563±23,and 5 spots which differed more than 1.5 fold between the two groups were obtained after image analysis. The result of the 5 ports were fibrinogen gammaα,212B2 glycoprotein-human, uneleavedα-1-B-antitrypsin,ceruloplasmin,and a chain of transthyretin.ConclusionThere are difference between the blood plasma proteome of heroin abuser and normal control. Some of the differential proteins maybe have relationship with damage of central nervous system caused by heroin.
