Study on relationship between chronic hurts of muscle,skeleton and work ability in primary and junior high school teachers

O bjective To study the effect and its related factors of chronicmuscle and skeleton hurts on work ability in prinary and junior high school teachers.Methods Changes in the chronic muscle and skeleton hurts and work ability were measured with Nordic musculoskeletal disorders standard questionnaire and CWAI among 1 500 prinary and junior high school teachers of Uiwnqi.Results The prevalence of the chronic muscle and skeleton hurts in woman was higher than of in male and of Han was higher than that of the Uygur and Kazak ethnic group.The rate of teacher with long work years was higher than that of with shortwork years.The teachers of Uygur and Kazak ethnic group have poorerwork ability than that of the teacher of Hui and Han ethnic group.The low educational background teacherw as poorer than that of the high educational background teacher.The chronic muscle and skeleton hurts show ed obviously negative correlation with work ability.The main factors affecting the work ability were sex,length of service,neck and shoulder hurts,lum bus and back hurts.Conclusion The chronic muscle and skeleton hurts affectwork ability in prinary and junior high school teachers
