Choice of contraceptive methods by floating married women and its influence factors

Objective To find out the choice of contracep tive methods by married floating women as well as its influence factors,and to ensure their legal rights and interests of getting family planning/reproductive health services.Methods Using multis tage sampling,the data were collected with face to face questionnaire in terview.Descriptives tudy was used for the analys is of con traceptive status and cross tab analys is for its influence factors.Results The dominating contraceptive method used was with IUD(94.6%),and 43.6% of married floating women took contraceptive methods in the immgrant a rea.There were significant differences in the composition of contraceptive methods between different levels of age,places of getting contraceptive methods,persons who chose or recommended the methods,and whether the methods were free or not(P<0.05).Conclusion Married floating women didn't make full use of the irlegal rights and the interests of getting family planning/reproductive health services.Only 51.1% of them had the contraceptive methods totally free.Various interventions should be streng thened.
