Surrey on QOL,psychological health situation in train drivers

Objective To research the tra in drivers' quality of life(QOL),psychological health situation and the relationship between them.Methods With cluster sampling method,230 train drivers for routine physical examination were recruited.The Chinese version of WHOQOL-BREF and SCL-90 were employed in the surrvey.Results All of the scores of WHOQOL-BREF were lower than those of community people(P<0.01).All of the factor score of SCL-90 were higher than that of norm(P<0.01).The score of every dmiension between WHOQOL-BREF and SCL-90 was negative correlated (P<0.01),and had no relationship with working years,age and level of education(P>0.05).Conclusion The levels of psychological health and QOL of train drivers were lower than that of general population,and their psychological health status affect their QOL.
