Investigation of nuclear and radiation emergency management resource in Gansu province

Objective To find out the situation of the nuclear and radition emergency management of Gansu province.Methods Questionnaire survey and field study were employed.Results In 163 administrations,organizations and hospitals investigated,the percentage of establishment of specific gronp on public emergency management or nuclear and radiation emergency management was 88.00%,31.25% and 45.56% and the percentage of making a plan for nuclear and radiation emergency management was 36.00%,16.67% and 8.89%,respectively.Conclusion The nuclear and radiation emergency management system in Gansu province is set up,but there are some inadequacies needed to be improved.
