Damage effect of formaldehyde on DNA of RAW264.7 cell

Objective To explore damage effect of forma ldehyde on DNA of RAW 264.7 cell.Methods Single cell gele lectro phoresis was used for detecting the damagee ffect of forma ldehyde on DNA of RAW 264.7 cel.l The RAW 264.7 cell were exposed to 0,20,40,80,160,and 320 mol/L of formal dehyde for 1hr,respectively.Results It was shown that comet incidence and migration length of DNA of RAW 264.7 cells were increased remarkably in 20,40,80,160 mol/L group.But the cometinc idence and migration length of DNA in 40 mol/L group(49.7%,22.6±18.5 m)were more serious than 160 mol/L group(38.3%.18.9±17.5 m).There was no differrence in comet incidence and migration length between 320 mol/L group and control group.Conclusion The formaldehyde has damage effect on DNA of RAW 264.7 cell.
