Quality of acute myocardial infarction treatment in China and Canada

ObjectiveTo understand the differences in acute myocardial infarction(AMI)treatment and hospitalmor-tality between Canada and China.MethodsApplying Chisquare test to compare the differences of cornary angiog raphy (CAG)rate,percutaneous coronary intervention(PCI)rate and hospital mortalitiy bewteen China and Canada.ResultsIn China,the CAG rate(68.48%)and coronary artery bypass graft(CABG)rate(2.3%)were lower than those of in Canada (56.98%,4.9%).But the PCI rate(91.68%)and hospital mortality(10.18%)in China were higher than those of in Canada (56.98%,4.9%).ConclusionThe application of CABG varies in China and in Canada.It is necessary to analyze it deeply.
