Morbidity rate of hyperten sion and its relationship with hyperuricemia in adults

  • Objective To explore the morbidity rate of hyeretension and its relationship with hyperuricemia in the adults of Baisecity.Methods A total of 14.393 adults with hypertension and hype ruricemia were divided in to groups by age,and related information was collected and analyzed.Results The morbidity rate of hypertension was 18.2%(23.7% in male,12.2% in female).The morbidity rate of male was higher than that of female(P<0.01).The morbidity rates of hypertension in all male guoups were higher than those of female except for 79 year-old-group(P<0.01 or P<0.05).The morbidity rate of serumu reaacid increase was 10.1%(51.5% in male,15.2% in female;P<0.01).The morbidity rate of hype ruricemia was 12.0%(11.8% in male,12.3% in female;P>0.05).A verage serumurea acid of male hypertensives in all ages group were higher than that of non-hypertensives except 70 year-old-group(P<0.01).The average serumurea acid was highe ronly in 20 year-old group and 70 yea-old group of female.The serumurea acid in 40 year-old-group of female hypertensives was lower than that of in non-hypertensive of same age group.Conclusion The morbidity rates of hypertension and hyperuricemia in adults of Baise are lower than in adults of othe rareas.Serumurea acid of male hypertensive is higher than that of non-hypertensive.There is a special variation trend of serunurea acid in different group of female hypertensive and non-hypertensive.
