Professional satisfaction and related influencing factors among family planning service providers in rural area

Objective To unde rstand professional satisfaction and related influencing factors among family planning service providers(FPSPs)in Anhui province.Methods Field survey was adopted with 198 participants accomplishing questionna iresanonym ously.Results The mean general satisfaction score of FPSPs was 2.96±1.32.The results showed that the score of companionship(3.28±0.82)was the highest while promotion(2.12±0.78),welfare(2.33±0.90),and salary(2.45±0.77)were the lowest among the nined miensions.Results of multiple linear regression analysis showed that influencing factors of the satisfaction were welfare(t=11.406,P=0.000),communication(t=-4.144,P=0.000),work ing condition(t=2.956,P=0.004),income(t=2.742,P=0.007),and gender(t=2.396,P=0.018).Conclusion Professional satisfaction of FPSRs is lowering eneral and is affected by welfare,communication,working condition,income,and gender.
