Reliability and validity of social psychology questionnaire for land-lost farmers

ObjectiveTo develop a social psychology questionnaire for land-lost farmers and to evaluate the reliability and validity of the questionnaire.MethodsTotally 656 land-lost farmers was surveyed with a self-designed social psychology questionnaire.Exploratory factor analysis and principal component analysis were used to analyze the rationality and correctness of the questionaire and reliability and validity evaluation were conducted.ResultsExploratory principal component analysis identified three factors in both social cognitive sub-questionnaire(CSQ)and social coping sub-questionnaire(SCSQ),explaining the total variance of 49.247% and 47.494%,respectively.Confirmatory factor analyses showed that the χ²/df of CSQ and SCSQ was 1.84 and 1.93,and root mean squaere error of approximation(RMSEA) of CSQ and SCSQ was 0.058 and 0.061,respectively,and all the indexes met the stipulated standard.The structure and content validity of the questionnaire was perfect and steady.The internal coefficient of the questionnaire was 0.855 and the half-split reliability was 0.769.ConclusionThe social psychology questionnaire for land-lost farmers has two subquestionnaire and the validity and reliability of the questionnaire are perfect.
