Elimination of matrix interference in determination of trace acrylamide in water with HPLC-MS/MS

  • Objective To establish a method to eliminate matrix interference in the determination of trace acrylamide in water with high-performance liquid chromatography tandem mass spectrometry(HPLC-MS/MS) Methods After adding isotope, the samples were extracted and cleaned up and then acrylanide in the water samples was determined by HPLC-MS/MS.Results The calibration linear range of acrylamide was from 2 to 300 μg/L with a correlation coefficient of 0.9997.The average recoveries for different matrices were 90.0%-96.5% with the relative standard deviation(RSD) of less than<5%,detection limit of 0.006 μg/L,and limit of quantification of 0.02 μg/L.Conclusion The results show that the method is suitable for determination of trace acylamide in water.
