Effects of environmental electromagnetic radition on teenager's neurobehavior in metropolis

  •   Objective   To investigate the effects of the frequency electromagnetic waves coexisted in same environment on teenagers neurobehavior.
      Methods   Neurotoxicological behavioral test-Neurobehavioral Core Test Battle(NCTB)was used for neurobehavioral Measurement.
      Results   Teenagers scores of Santa Ana Manual Dexterity Test and Digit Symbol in high electromag neitcr adiation environment are significantly higher than that in low electromagnetic radiation environment(P < 0.05), and the score of Pursuit Aiming Test in Teenagers(16-18 years old)in high electr omag netic radiation environment is statistically decreased(P < 0.05).
      Conclusion   The environmental electromagnetic radiation nowadays in metropolis has no harmful effect on teenagers manual dexterity, eye-hand coordination ability, vision sensaion, memory, modeling learning ability.And may have harmful effect to teenagers (especially 16-18 years old female) psychological stability and hand-movement speed.
