Distribution of personality disorder tendency of college student

  Objective   To survey the prevalence of personality disorder in college students.

  Methods   By means of cluster sampling, 2 228 students from 5 colleges in Harbin City were investigated by personality diagnostic quesitonnaire-revised (PDQ-4+).

  Results   The obsessive-compulsive personality had the highest incidence(28%), avoidance personality (8%), passive-attacking personality(1%), depressive personality(1%)and dependence personality(1%).

  Conclusion   There were different incidence of personality disorder among college students, which should be paid attention during personality development through effective and positive measures.
