Objective To investigate and study the mental health state of college students in Henan.
Methods 1 100 college students in Henan were investigated with Symptom Check-List 90 (SCL-90).
Results The subjects' mental health level were much higher than the national norm and the college students' summing-up sample. The students' scores of all factors of SCL-90 had significant difference when their speciality and their physical health level were different. The scores of every factors of SCL-90 in the senior students were much higher than in the junior students. There were also significantly difference in one or two factors' scores of SCL-90 between male and female students or urban and rural students.
Conclusion The mental health education must be enhanced for college students in order to improve their psychological quality.
