Effect of ALT on quality of blood source

  Objective   To investgate the effect of ALT in the criterion of blood source quality.

  Methods   Two groups rats were put to death after poinsoned with spirit containing 52 percent alcohol by mouth.One group by 10.0 g/kg, another by 5.0g/kg.

  Results   According to the GB-18467-2001(ALT≤25 Come.s U/ml), the ALT of group by 10.0 g/kg were all higher than the standard, it was the same of the 40% female and 30% male rats in the group by 5.0 g/kg, but according to the criterion of clinical medical (ALT≤40 U/ml), there were only 20% of the former ALT were higher than the standard.And the SOD activity was decrased 30%, the concentration of LPO was increased 50%.

  Conclusion   If the ALT standard in the criterion were relaxed(≤40 U/ml), there would no effect on the qulity of blood source, and it could also increase the utilization ratio.
