Effects of nucleic acid and pollen on promoting excretion of cadmium

  •   Objective   To study function of nucleic acid and pollen on promoting excretion of cadmium and its influence on the liver and kidney.
Methods   Male rats of SD-strain of clean grades, which weighting(209.67±6.11)g, were distributed into 4 groups according to their weight: (Ⅰ)Normal contrast group, (Ⅱ)group infected with Cd only, (Ⅲ)intervention groups with low dose, (Ⅳ)intervenient groups on high dose.(Ⅱ)-(Ⅳ)groups were infected with CdCl2 subcutaneous two consecutive weeks. After infection separate nucleic acid and pollen were poured into stomach of the Ⅲ、Ⅳgroups, Ⅰ group was poured equal quantitative distilled water as well.
Results   (1) General aspects of intervention groups were better than that of only Cd group and their increases of weight were also higher(P < 0.05).(2)Cd concentration in the urine〔μmg/(g°cr)〕: Nucleic acid and pollen group of the high dose was higher than only Cd group(P < 0.05).Cd concentration in the liver: nucleic acid and pollen group of the high dose was lower than only Cd group(P < 0.05), difference of Cd-kidney and Cd-bone on every group was no statistical significant.(3)Check up the hurts in the liver and kidney: ALP and AST in the two intervention groups were lower than that of only Cd group, but there was no statistical significance(P > 0.05).Groups with BUN, CRE and AKP, r-GT were no statistical significance(P > 0.05).
Conclusion   Nucleic acid and pollen of comparative high dose can improve the excretion of Cd without increasing hurts of liver and kidney. The result maybe related to the molecular structure of nucleic acid and abundant VB and anti-oxidized content in pollen.
