Objective To investigate the expression and significance of cyclin E in female lung cancer.
Methods Usings-p immunohistochemical analysis.
Results Thirty-one cases of female lung cancer(31/50, 62%)showed overexpression of cyclin E, and thirteen cases of normal tissues(13/50, 26%)were positive for cyclin E.Overexpression of cyclin E was more frequently observed in squamous cell carcinoma compared with that in adenocarcinoma, but without statistically significant. And there were independent histological types or grade of tumor.
Conclusion There were overexpression of cyclin E in female lung cancer, which indicated that cyclin E may be a prognostic role in lung caner tissue.
