Analysis on recruitment of monodidymus in Qingdao

  •   Objective   To recruit monodidymus in Qingdao and set up monodidymus dataset to investigate their distribution.Basic data can be collected for the dynamic observation on monodidymus health and some sensible genes of varied chronic diseases.
      Methods   The recruitment of monodidymus is based on local disease control network and media propaganda.The former is major, the latter is complementary.
      Results   The 5 527 pairs of twins and 67 pairs of triplets were recruited, which totaled 11 255 which.The proportion of twins recruited in Qingdao population was 1.59‰, in some local area the proportion was 5.68‰.It was estimated that the total proportion was at least 2.15‰.
      Conclusion   Qingdao had plenty of twins resources which was benefit for research in gene factors and environmental factors of varied chronic diseases.
