Investigation on effect of cold tolerance training on index of vaso-response to cold in young men coming from different region

  Objective   To study cold adaptation of the young men coming from differentregion during coldtolerance training in army.

  Methods   The young recruits of army were divided into 2 groups.GroupⅠ(50 coming from the south region)and group(50 from the north region).A ccording to the new outline, they did cold tolerance exer cises from December to February of nextyear.VRCI was tested before the course of training, 30^th day and 60^th day respectively.

  Results   Before the recruits.training, it was revealed that VRCI of group Ⅱ were better than thatof group Ⅰ.After one month, VRCI both group Ⅰand Ⅱ were improved obuiously and hadn.tsig nificant difference between them.And after two months, the young men's VRCI were improved solidify.

  Conclusion   Atthe early days when the yentered cold region, cold tolerance of the young men coming from the south region were inferior to that of coming from the north region.To have been cold tolerance trained, all the young men from both regions received an improvementin cold tolerance.Moreover, the increasing extent of the men from the south region were highter than those of men from the north region, and their cold adaptation were promoted and consolidated.
