Protective effect of rich selenium-banqiao-codonopsis pilosula on intelligence development and hypoxia/reoxygenation injury in mice

  •   Objective   To Study on promoting intelligence developmenteffects and preventing hy poxia/reox ygenation injury of rich selenium-banqiao-codonopsis pilosula in mice.
      Methods   Learning and memory barrier model induced by phenylisopropyladenosine(PIA) was adopted in promoting intelligence develo pmentexperiment; and anti-oxygenaion experimentmice hy poxia/reoxy genation injury model was used to measure the activity of reactire oxy gen species(ROS), calalase(CAT), superoxide dismutase(SOD)and malondialdehy de(MDA)in blood.
      Results   Rich selenium-danqiao-codonopsis pilosula boild water could enhance the learning and memory ability of mice; obviouslyextend the swimming time of mice; could decrease the quality of ROS and MDA; increase the activity of SOD, butithad no obvious effecton CAT.
      Conclusion   Rich selenium-banqiao-codonopsis pilosula had effects of promoting intellig ence developmentand preventing gypoxia/reox ygenation injury.
